Ed has nearly 30 years of success at creating world-class market penetration programs in the medical device and additive manufacturing sectors resulting in the ability to effectively execute business strategies intended to exceed sales goals, enhance market capabilities and maximize profitability.  He has successfully led the implementation of dozens of commercial launches resulting in revenues exceeding $2 billion. 

 

Ed has broad based global and regional product development, sales and strategic marketing management expertise with Fortune companies as well as "cutting edge" entrepreneurial start-up organizations.  He offers extensive experience building and mentoring global & regional results driven teams. 

 

Ed also has proven success integrating multi-site operations, managing internal and distributor sales groups, aligning culturally diverse teams around a strategic vision and profit model.  He is recognized for creating above market sales growth, robust customer relationships, launching new products, and growing market share.  Ed has been an invited speaker/panel member at a  number of high profile industry events including AMUG (Additive Manufacturing Users Group), Plastics in Medical Devices Annual Meeting and European AO (Association for the Study of Internal Fixation) events.  

Ed has a passion for technology and for commercializing products which improve a person's quality of life.  He excels at at understanding clinical challenges from the OEM, healthcare provider, and economic buyer perspective.  He was inspired to create VisionTec while serving as a senior executive with NN Inc., a world class medical device contract manufacturer.

Ed is affluent at creating high level "performance based strategies" which bridge clinical and economic influences.  He is recognized as a relation builder focused on commercializing "next generation" products.
